Environmental Wellness

The environment for which each of us lives has a significant impact on how we feel on a daily basis. Environmental wellness lies in the interaction between you and your surrounding environment. By understanding the impacts of this interaction, you can take actions to not only protect yourself from environmental hazards but also minimize the negative impact of your behavior on the environment. Leading a lifestyle that is respectful to our environment and minimizes any harm done to it is a critical part of environmental wellness.

In support of environmental wellness, Matthew Yamatin will lead a monthly Environmental Wellness Lunch Series available to all staff. The objective of this series is:

  • To become aware of the environmental hazardous present in everyday life
  • To understand how daily habits impact the world around you
  • To learn how to live a healthier life while respecting earth's natural resources
